We Need Emergency Foster Home For Albie!

Albie is a beautiful, affectionate Albino Boxer mix has had a rough start in life. He was recently rescued from coyotes chasing him on a local golf course. Currently, he is being temporarily fostered by the family who saved him, but they are unable to keep him permanently. This lovely, happy 1-year-old dog craves love and attention. He is slowly adapting to being around humans, overcoming his initial jumpiness, and learning to trust.  When on our walks he does not react or show aggression to other dogs and remains in protection mode. He needs a loving and safe home with someone who can give him time for walks and basic training. He has been neutered, dewormed and given his latest shots. He looks forward to a new and loving home.

If you are interested in fostering or possibly adopting Albie, please contact us.

Lola - Has Been Adopted And Is Now In Colorado!

Hi, this is Lola. She is about 18 months old and is the momma of the puppies we recently adopted out. Lola is deaf and has not learned commands. She needs someone who is willing to work with her as she begins navigating her new life. Although she is currently with someone temporarily, we would like to find a more permanent foster home or permanent home - just to help her get to that next level.

Nora - Is Looking For Her Forever Home!

We’d like you to meet Nora.  She is a flashy brindle female born March of 2016 in Bremen Germany. She is not spayed and we are in the process of scheduling that very soon.  She is about 60 pounds, microchipped and is current on vaccines.   She is described as active and loving, but she can be reactive to other animals and small toddlers. She is blind in one eye due to a soft palate injury/infection at age 3.  There have been no other health issues and is routinely cared for at Del Norte Animal Clinic.  She does not have any destructive habits and can sleep in a crate or on the bed with her owner. She’s happy with her daily walk or playing fetch in the yard and in true Boxer fashion will not bring it back to you. She really enjoys movies & snuggles with her owner.

A re-home is necessary due to her current owner's age and extensive shoulder surgery requiring more than a year long recovery.

She is a good sleeper in bed with her humans which  include pet sitters watching her for only a couple of days. She craves attention and bonds quickly to whomever is taking care of her.

If you are interested in learning more about Nora, please contact us.

Bruno - Is Looking For His Forever Home!

This is Bruno.   We're guessing maybe 2 years old.    Sweet boy who gets along with his foster cats.   He's just been through the Boxer Rescue intake process and was neutered, vaccinated and chipped on May 10th.   He'll need a little time to recover, but he can soon be with us at Petvet Market.

Please indicate in your correspondence that you are interested in Bruno and your preferred method of contacting you.

If you are interested in learning more about Bruno or would like to try and meet him before our next Petvet date on May 25th, please contact us.
